How are items priced?
To estimate the price of a used item, we consider the item’s condition and analyse the current resale market. Depending on its condition and demand, the item’s are priced 30-70% less than in Boutique.
We take care to inspect all items to ensure they are in a condition suitable for resale : remember the items are second hand and are sold on an 'as is' basis.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a range of credit / debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as PayPal and Apple Pay and Twint. If you have any problems with your order please contact us.
Can I Return Items?
If you are not happy with your product, you can ask for a return within 10 days. The return window starts from the day the product was delivered.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Few items are non-returnable: if an item is non-returnable, you will find this note in the product description.
The item remains the customer’s responsibility until it is received at our office. If the returned item has been worn or stained, we won’t be able to process the return. The Hangtags must not be removed. If it’s removed or damaged we won’t be able to process the return.
Total return and refund processing time: up to 25 days.
Are items cleaned?
All items are washed and/or kept in the freezer for at least 72 hours to ensure it is 100% free of moths. Whilst the majority of our garments do not need repairs, occasionally we make minor alterations to an almost perfect jumper to give it a new life.
All articles are also treated with a steam iron, which removes 99% of all bacteria. This steam ironing process is an essential step in our garment preparation routine. It not only helps to eliminate wrinkles and creases but also serves as an effective method for sanitizing the clothing. The high temperature of the steam effectively kills most microorganisms, including bacteria, dust mites, and some viruses. This additional step ensures that our customers receive not just visually appealing, but also hygienic and safe-to-wear garments. The steam treatment is particularly beneficial for individuals with sensitive skin or allergies, as it helps to reduce potential irritants on the fabric.
Why do you apply a Maximum Order Quantity?
At the moment our maximum order quantity is two items per transaction.
We are a small business and want to offer quality over quantity.
Our sourcing process is very accurate, and our treasury limited.
Is ist possible to try the item before buying ?
No, unfortunately it is not possible. We are an online shop and have no shop.
But you can pick up your order in our office in Lugano.
Can I sell my items to Lalaine ?
We offer direct payment for some items, additionally to our "Sell with Lalaine" Program.
This is your option if you prefer immediate payment and eliminate waiting periods.
In this case, the price paid will always be lower, as we take on the risk.
To sell your items via Lalaine, and know more about conditions, please contact us office@lalaine.ch.
We ask you to send us a picture, Brand, Size, your target price, and check the item’s condition.
We do not accept damaged items. We can only resell traditional know-how and true craftmanship premium and luxury cashmere items.

Do you accept articles that have pilling?
Yes, we accept articles with pilling if the overall condition of the item is good to very good. In our cashmere SPA-program, we can completely remove pilling, allowing the item to appear in renewed splendor.
